Our Heritage & Pioneering Milestones
ByDow Investments Limited is a Pharmaceutical company incorporated in Nigeria in April 1994. It began operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the same year. The company operates primarily under the name ByDow Pharmacy, with a strong focus on delivering affordable, community-centered healthcare through retail Pharmacy services.
We are core retailers of Pharmaceutical products with a specialized focus on occupational health, serving a distinguished clientele that includes major multinational corporations and government institutions such as the Nigerian Ports Authority.
ByDow Pharmacy was the first indigenous Pharmacy to provide Pharmaceutical services to oil rigs across Nigeria, an achievement that positioned us as pioneers in the field. We also led innovation in retail Pharmacy by being the first Nigerian-owned company to establish independent Pharmacy outlets in high-end departmental stores, setting a trend others followed.
ByDow Pharmacy is also in partnership with a UK-based company, forming ByDow Asset Pharmaceuticals Ltd, headquartered in London since 2006.
Operations, Leadership & Nationwide Reach
Today, ByDow operates a growing chain of 19 Pharmacy outlets across Nigeria, with a workforce of over 120 employees, many of whom are licensed healthcare professionals.
Our leadership team, composed of licensed Pharmacy professionals, holds the regulatory authority to import, sell, and distribute medicines and health-related products. Over the years, we have secured both product-specific and general import permits from Nigeria’s regulatory agencies, in line with our commitment to global best practices in Pharmaceutical distribution.
We stock a wide range of medications, supplements, and medical devices, with competitive pricing and exceptional customer service. Our outlets record a 95% customer return rate, underscoring our loyalty-driven service culture.
Open seven days a week, ByDow Pharmacy serves numerous customers daily at each location, and distributes nationwide through our ecommerce platform, making us a trusted name in health and wellness across communities. We are strategically expanding our reach and aim to add 3 to 5 new outlets annually, pursuing smart, sustainable growth without compromising on quality.
